What you may do
You may use every calculator on this site free of charge, for personal or commercial purposes, without an account and without attribution. You may share result links with colleagues, suppliers, customers and forwarders. You may reference figures produced here in your own quotes and internal documents.
You do not need permission for any of that. The tools exist to be used.
What you may not do
- Copy the site's content or code wholesale to republish as a competing site. Individual formulas are public knowledge and are yours to use; the written explanations, worked examples and page code are not.
- Present results from this site as certified, professional or official advice, or as having been checked by a customs broker, forwarder or carrier.
- Attempt to interfere with the site, or use automated means to place load on it beyond ordinary use.
- Use the site in any way that is unlawful in your jurisdiction.
No warranty
The site and everything on it is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. That includes any implied warranty of accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Considerable care goes into the arithmetic, every result shows its working so that you can check it, and sources are cited where a calculation depends on a published value. None of that is a guarantee that a given figure is correct or appropriate for your situation. See the disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StowMath and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or reliance on any result it produces. That includes - without limitation - freight charges, demurrage, duty, tax, penalties, rejected shipments, lost profit or lost business.
Decisions with money attached should be confirmed with your carrier, forwarder or customs broker before you commit. The tools here are for planning and estimation.
Availability
The site is offered without any uptime commitment. Pages may change, tools may be corrected or withdrawn, and the site may be unavailable at times. A result you saw previously may change if an underlying assumption is corrected - corrections are dated on each page.
